A San Francisco executive, Elliot Sands co-founded the telemedicine company CirrusMD to improve communication capabilities between doctors and patients. Since 2012, he has provided operational and administrative leadership ranging from accounting and budgeting to human resource support. Under Elliot Sands leadership, CirrusMD has achieved $20 million in Round-C financing and secure partnerships with healthcare systems nationwide.

In 2022, Mr. Sands joined Faith First as their first Executive Director. Faith First exists to equip and encourage all Christians to live Jesus’ love and unity in our world. They envision a world where Christians lead the way in unity in diversity. He is leading the charge to build Faith First into the preeminent resource and encourager of unity, breaking down the racial and socio-economic divides that plague our society.
Previously, Mr. Sands joined the $14-million SHP Foundation as Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget, he also provides operational leadership to support the organization’s overall goals. The SHP Foundation funds several projects related to homelessness, low-income housing, and other community needs in the San Francisco Bay area.

A graduate of Westmont College, Mr. Sands holds a bachelor of arts in religious studies. He then earned a master of business administration in business management from San Jose State University, and a master of divinity from Western Seminary. Over the course of his career, he has received professional accolades including the Fujitsu Annual Winners Circle Sales Award and Best Presentation Award from the CRN Tech Builder Xchange.
